Aktiviti apa minggu lepas? It was a gloomy weekend as well after August 22nd was announced as hari #Malaysiaberkabung. Hujung minggu terakhir Syawal jugak. So, hari Sabtu pergi beraya dan ahad beriadah.. It's been an overdue activity since we've promised Akir, we promised him for a horseriding. Initially, we were thinking of going to Taman Tasik Titiwangsa but with the unexpected weather these days, usual evening pour won't let us have a ride.

So on Sunday evening around 4, after Akir's naptime, my husband suggested to have a drive around Putrajaya.. 

And I thought, "Huh? takde kerja ke?" 
And I got replied, "Ahad kan, memang tak kerja" *teardrops*

Jadi, ikut jelah orang dah ajak. And as we had our evening ride, my husband thought of going to Putrajaya Equestrian Club in Precint 5. He was about to tell Akir but I stopped him. Baik pegi tengok dulu ada ke idak, karang takde ngamuk lak hero kenit tu. Akir was so overjoyed, thinking of going to 'Hari Raya'. Takpelah 'nak..

As we approached the club, Akir was so anxious. Mana ade rumah orang ni. He mumbled all alone. And as he saw a horse walking around the paddocks, he went over the moon.. "Nak naik horse!!" he screamed his lungs out.. We know he is so gonna be excited *happymama*

Once parked, he rushed to the paddock. Tak sabar2...

They have a white pony and a horse. It costs RM5 for a ride, bolehlah untuk bagi dia happy.


So, he started with the lil one. Grabbed by his own a helmet and waited. Let the pictures say it all..






And then, he went up to the black horse with Abah. Takde cuak langsung, he is enjoying the moment.




So now, we were thinking of sending him for a horse-riding class since he showed a lot of interest in it. Memanah dah, berenang dah, now let start him with horse-riding before we could combined all together into 1 skill, insyaAllah..Allahumma yassir wala tuassir..

::Self-schooling activity:: ~Playdough~

So this entry is about my son enjoying his one of many play-dough time. We let him exploring and experimenting with this dough. Buat sendiri, cost rendah makanya lantak la nak campur ke nak apa ke..dah abis, ibu buat lagi yer...Kos?

Tepung gandum 1kg = RM2.00 (tak habis sekilo pun)
Cream of Tartar = RM3.00++ (depending on size n kedai, ini mmg habis)
Garam = RM1.00++ (pilih paling murah, bukan untuk dimakan jadi tak payah la guna yang garam bukit bagai)
Air, minyak masak = kos minimum

Hasil? selambak kot...I could get my fist-size of clump for each colour, worth every RM rather than buying a cup of RMxx. Inilah hasil kreativitinya..





Let him explore and experiment with my mould. Takpe, boleh basuh dan tidak bertoksik. Masuk mulut pun takpe, benda dah masak tapi boleh jamin mesti dia luah balik sebab MASIN!!!







::Self-schooling activity:: How to make a playdough

Playdough is one among Syakir's favourite activity. So, to buy a small container of it cost quite a lot hence I did Google for alternative. You will find the cook recipe n non-cook recipe but I love the cook one as it tends to last longer if u keep it in fridge. I made this for Akir a week before my due date and it last for about a month or so if keep well refrigerated. This amount of dough can b used up till few times or depending on the amount of you using each time.

Resepinya:

a cup of flour

1/3 salt
2 teaspoon of cream tartar
Food colouring

Cara-caranya:

1. 1 cawan tepung gandum + 1 cawan air + 1 sudu makan minyak + 1/3 cawan garam + 2 sudu teh cream of tartar --> dicampurkan dan dikacau di atas dapur dengan api kecil


2. Bila dah agak sebati, tambah beberapa titik pewarna makanan. Kacau di atas api kecil sehingga sebatian tadi mula masak dan menggumpal sehingga lekang dari dinding periuk.

3. Bila dah masak, tinggalkan sebentar untuk doh sejuk. 

4. Sejukkan doh sehingga boleh diuli. Uli beberapa kali dan boleh disimpan di dalam peti sejuk. Sebelum simpan, balut doh dengan pembalut plastik makanan (clingwrap) supaya doh tahan lama.

Food spotting ~ Laman Grill Putra Kajang~

semalam jugak jammed nak masak apa so big boss ajak JJCM n he suggested Laman Grill in Kajang. I did some Googling and found this. And read few review regarding this restaurant hence decided to go there for our dinner after Maghrib prayer.

It's a fine dining restaurant, class...we arrived early so there's plenty of seats available..warn u, after 2015 org makin ramai and i kid u not, better make a reservation. ini pun bukan malam minggu yer.. and they are adopting an open kitchen style,,teringat Hell's Kitchen, terbayang-bayang Gordon Ramsey..

After flipping thru, we decided to order :

1. Bolognese for Akir


2. Norwegian Salmon for me


3. Australian Baby Lamb Foreshank for big boss..


Rasa makanan dia, I would rate 8/10 sebab ada lacking in the drink served...Akir can't stop saying delicious...Let the picture do the talking

Ok, let's talk about cake...so, been living in Putrajaya sebelum ni kedai kek dok nampak Secret Recipe and Baker's Cottage je..tapi after an extensive research (gitteww ayat!) for my baby's 2nd birthday, jumpa 1 baker in Putrajaya, living specifically in Precint 17. My boy's first birthday gigih tempah dkt Bangi ok..

Disebabkan kegilaan anak masa tu adalah Olaf, maka tema kek dia pun Olaf..it's a choc cake oreo with choc ganache as finishing...My son and I memang sgt puas hati, thank you for giving that priceless happiness Yusra..

And then, I undoubtedly, repeat another order of cake dari Yusra especially for my boss on her retirement..Her favourite is carrot cake so this is.. And all my colleagues were so delightful sbb nampak figurine look so alike our boss, mmg trademark dia pakai brooch labuh gitu tawww!! and the cake's taste? Unquestionable *ada ke perkataan tu?* even the big bosses and higher level boleh ask for next piece...

 

And recent order was for Raya Celebration...A red velvet cake and I need no word to describe further..


Search for Yus Great Idea blog or FB. Nak tempah macam2 kek ada; birthday, wedding, engagement, coklat, cookies or even baking class...Highly recommended...I love to let her explore and experimenting her own idea in spite giving too details on the detail of cake I wanted..She's truly creative..

Tea Time Trial Menu


Semalam semua org balik awal, before 5 hence I decided to make some teatime meal. Ala2 belasah jugak menurut si pemberi resepi... My best other half call it chicken pie putrajaya,boleh? but it's quite simple and doable even for brekkie as all u need is to dashed everything in 1 container and let it cook in oven...rasa? boleh la..

So, the ingredients are
daging ayam dicincang halus
cendawan dicincang    
Grated Carrot
Spices













Onion and garlic
Olive oil
2 eggs
Bread and cheese










How do u make it?
1. Tumiskan bawang sehingga sedikit layu, masukkan cendawan, ayam dan carrot. Goreng sehingga ayam dan cendawan masak. Add on spices and salt for seasoning and the filling is done.

2. Susun roti di dalam bekas yang ingin digunakan dan tahan oven. Susunan adalah ISA (Ikut Suka Anda). Jika bekas anda adalah jenis melekat, lebih elok disapu sedikit butter.

3. Masukkan inti ke dalam roti yang telah disusun tadi.
                                                              

4. Tuang bancuhan telur dengan sedikit susu segar.

                                                 

5. Taburkan keju sebanyak yang disukai. Lagi banyak lagi sedap. I am using mozarella in here.

                                                 

6. Bakar dengan suhu 180 Celcius dalam 15 minit atau ikut tahap kerangupan yang puan2 suka..
